Soccer Analysts Meetup before MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference
Last year after Day 1 of the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, a group of us soccer bloggers got together for some drinks to talk shop and out of it was born the idea of Soccer Analysts. It’s time to do it again! The plan is to get together on Thursday night for some drinks in a super casual setting.
Date/Time: Thursday March 1 @ 8pm
Location: McGreevy’s 911 Boylston St between Gloucester and Hereford (about a 5 minute walk from the conference hotels)
Who: Anyone is welcome. McGreevy’s doesn’t take reservations but I’ll try to get there a little before 8 to grab some tables. If you have trouble finding us, you can contact me via Twitter or email me at srudd@onfooty.com
Looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting some new people! Also, since the bar is 21+, contact me if you are interested in getting together during breakfast on Friday before the welcome remarks. I’m not familiar with the layout of the Hynes Convention Center so it’s hard to set a meeting spot in advance.
